MERIDIAN, Miss. (WTOK) – Meridian Police Department Lt. Heather Luebbers confirmed to News 11 that MPD responded to a local emergency room around 2:30 a.m. Sunday to three men who had been shot.
According to Lt. Luebbers the men said they were traveling together in the area of the Hwy. 39 bypass and the Front Street Ext. when someone in another car started shooting at them.
All three men were in stable condition and the injuries did not appear to be life threatening.
