CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – One person has been hospitalized following a shooting Wednesday morning in Clarksville.

Clarksville Police said that at 10:53 a.m. Wednesday, officers responded to a residence on Chapel Street for a shooting that had already occurred.
When officers arrived, they found a 31-year-old male with a gunshot wound to his upper right shoulder. Police said he was driven to Vanderbilt Hospital by ambulance and is reported to be in stable condition.
Investigators determined that this was a domestic-related incident, and the suspect, Randal Stewart, 64, fled the scene and was taken into custody in Fairview at approximately 12:39 p.m. on Wednesday.

This is still an ongoing investigation, and CPD said no other information is available for release at this time.
