A 53-year-old man was killed in a shooting early Monday morning in Stockton, according to police.

Authorities responded to reports of someone down around 2:45 a.m. at the 500 block of West Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, where officers found the man on the ground with gunshot wounds.
First responders attempted life-saving measures, but the man died at the scene, police said.
Officers have no motive or suspect information.
